Alliance

The Northern Beaches Wolves Alliance is a joint venture between the Manly Warringah Wolves and the four junior AFL community clubs on the Northern Beaches: Balgowlah Suns, Forest Lions, Manly Bombers and Pittwater Tigers.

The Alliance was established to provide a clear and aspirational development pathway for older junior players, to improve the retention of junior footballers into the Wolves, and to strengthen the overall growth and quality of AFL across the Northern Beaches.

The Alliance:

• Provides aspirational players within the region with the opportunity to compete in Division 1 football in the U15 and U17 boys’ and girls’ competitions in the Northern Beaches Wolves Alliance.
• Creates a direct pathway from junior football into the regional senior club, the Manly Warringah Wolves.
• Lifts the standard of Division 2 football through higher-level coaching, talent identification and player development.
• Supports Division 3 football at the individual junior clubs by assisting with recruitment and retention initiatives across the region, while ensuring players can participate at a level that suits their confidence and development.
• Delivers coach development through joint programs between senior and junior coaches, supported by a structured, seasonal coaching development calendar.
