Our Wolf Spirit
The strength of the Wolf is in the Pack, and the strength of the Pack is in the Wolf.
We, the Manly Warringah Wolves, embody the wild and courageous spirit of the Wolf, its powerful instinct and dominant physicality.
We hunt together as a pack and fight to the death when protecting each other, our cubs, our den and our Northern Beaches territory and community.
When hunting in our enemies’ terrain, we are never intimidated but play a patient, methodical and predatory brand of footy, knowing when to attack and when to defend.
We use our fierce instinct, our aggression, agility and innate power to make our mark early and consistently.
Our pack is highly organised: we understand intuitively that if we each play our role fiercely and courageously, we can defeat our predators and our enemies.
Above all else, we form deep bonds within our extended Wolf pack. We respect and celebrate that any great and sustainable pack needs and honours an entire community: both male and female wolves, older wolves and junior cubs, players of differing abilities and aspirations, members, volunteers, supporters and community.
Like all Wolfpacks, we need every member of our community to not just to thrive but to survive.
We are the Manly Wolves. We are stronger together.
"When one runs with the wolves, one must howl with the pack." Leon Trotsky
