Manly Warringah Wolves AFL is seeking ambitious, experienced and values-driven
Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches to join our Men’s football program for the
2027 season.
Following three consecutive Grand Final appearances, the Wolves have established
a strong senior football program on the Northern Beaches. With the club’s elevation
into the newly established Sydney Football League (SFL), we are entering an
exciting new era — and we are looking for coaches to help shape it.

COACHING OPPORTUNITIES

We are inviting applications for Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions across:
· Premier Division (SFL)
· Division 1, Division 3, Division 4, Division 6 and Masters
· Under 19 Division 1 (SFL) and Under 19 Division 2

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our coaching team will play a key role in developing players, building strong team
environments and delivering a high-quality football program across the Wolves’
Men’s pathway.
Depending on the role, coaches will be responsible for:
· Developing and implementing an effective football program
· Leading, developing and motivating players
· Establishing strong, accountable and united team cultures
· Developing emerging talent and supporting player pathways
· Working collaboratively with the broader coaching and football department
· Setting clear standards around preparation, performance and professionalism
· Building strong relationships with players, coaches, volunteers and the wider
Wolves community
· Representing the club and its values both on and off the field

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for coaches who are:
A Leader — able to inspire, challenge and bring people together.
A Developer — committed to getting the best out of players at every stage of their
football journey.
A Communicator — able to build strong relationships with players, coaches,
volunteers and the broader club.
A Strategist — capable of planning and delivering a structured, competitive football
program.
A Competitor — motivated to improve standards and contribute to a successful team
and club environment.
Previous coaching experience is highly regarded, along with relevant AFL coaching
accreditation and experience within a structured football environment.
